The Khatea Cafe Journey
Back in 2020, two childhood friends—food lovers with big dreams—wanted to create a place in Berhampur where chai wasn’t just a drink, but a feeling. One loved experimenting with local flavours, the other had a knack for turning everyday snacks into comfort food.
What started as a small tea and snack counter near Mango Market soon became a neighbourhood favourite. The warm response from the community inspired them to expand—not just the space, but the menu too. They brought in passionate cooks and crafted a menu that fused desi soul with global bites.
Today, Khatea Cafe serves hundreds of happy customers every day with favourites like Matka Pizza, Vegalfrado Pasta, and the bold Zinger Tea. It’s more than just a cafe—it’s a cosy corner where stories are shared, friendships bloom, and every bite feels like home.
